You don't need perfect grammar in your content!

Let's start by saying: persuasive copy > perfect grammar.
Sorry to throw a mathematical symbol at you, we promise not to make a habit of it!
We want to discuss the fact that great copy doesn’t have to be grammatically perfect to be effective. As people who love all things wordy and wonderful that actually felt a little strange to type out.
We’re not suggesting that you throw away all the rules and hope for the best, but we’ve found that relaxing the rules a little creates content that resonates with people and will convert better. For example:
Sometimes a sentence fragment works better. Sometimes starting with “And” creates better flow. Sometimes you need to ditch formality and just talk like a human.
Don’t spend hours polishing your grammar while your message gets watered down… it’s time to flip your priorities.
Spend your time thinking about who you’re talking to, and what is important to them. What will make them feel something, or get them interested in what you have to say?
When you start thinking about that, rather than whether it should be a colon or semicolon, you’re already heading in the right direction! 👌
Persuasive content that engages will win over perfect grammar every time.
